Escape and Let Go is a reflection of the human journey through uncertainty, burden, and ultimately, peace. It speaks to those moments when life feels overwhelming—when expectations, fear, and the weight of the past, present and/or future leave us feeling trapped, searching for a way forward.

The painting begins in tension, with layered textures and expressive movement. Yet within that uncertainty lies transformation. The colors soften with blues and white, symbolizing the quiet strength found in surrender.

This work is not about having all the answers. It is about finding the courage to release what no longer serves us and trusting that even when the road ahead is unclear, there is beauty in continuing forward. Peace is not discovered because the path becomes certain, but because we choose to let go of the need to control everything.
